Soon To Be Perth Bound..

Hey everyone!

Currently living in QLD, however I am moving back to Perth where I was born within the next 3-4 weeks roughly. Will be looking for a R32, and yes I am set on the R32. Just wanted to get a post up to see if I am within driving distance of meets, etc as I won't really know anyone as I last lived there 8-9 years ago and this seems like a good way to meet people !

Will be moving around the Byford area.. and would love some tips on the situation with looking for cars in WA as I hear there is no road worthy's needed to sell?

Hey Dylan, welcome to WA (for when you arrive)

Unfortunately not a lot of street meets happens here to be honest. Though saying that, there are a few who try to organise some; once my car is up and running again I'll be keep to get to some meets.

Most occur up at Barbagallo for the racing events - keep an eye on the Barbagallo events section, that will be a good place to meet a few Skyline owners

What is it like for prices on R32's?

32s / 33s 95% are bunky crap (exc GTRs but even then, its tough). 34s getting that way too.

Yeah there's no meets and sau is dead in WA. Best bet is find facebook groups in WA and put the word out.

No roadworthies so there's a lot of crap around..

Yeah the roadies is a bit of an issue. Will definitely need to inspect it first, and with a fine tooth comb.

What are some majors to watch for on R32's? Anything really bad like gearboxes or anything that go often?

Mechanicals are ok, biggest issue is going to be body and interior.
There's loads of info though so best search!
