Hi there lads and ladies.

I'm stripping a 99 RS4s (Ie factory manual) AWD Stagea

Bought it mainly to finish off a manual conversion

Motor, gearbox, manual conversion, rear quaters back externally, towbar already gone, front panel damaged so most panels are shagged.
I'll list the major parts I have left and ballpark figures, if you're after anything else, swing me a text/pm and I'll see if I have it and give a price. Otherwise I'll list the major parts I want to sell below, also includes some spares I've built up over the years

Bilstein Coilovers (Fork type rear, unknown condition since I never had the chance to drive on them) - $400
Front Reo (appears undamaged) - $50

Selby 22mm Front Swaybar w/links, saddles + bushes and brackets to bolt straight up to the suspension arm - $150
Side Mount intercooler (good for roadworthy/regency - All brackets included) - $25

Stock Radiator w/Stock Hose + Stock overflow bottle - $50

Auto Rear cradle w/arms - $50 (local pick up only)

Stock Rear diff with driveshafts - $150 (will check ratio but should be 4.08:1 ratio)
Rear Knuckles with handbrake, cables, stock calipers, 5 stud hubs, rotor, pads etc - $200 the pair (good to put drum handbrake rear into S-chassis.
Complete Seats and Door Trims Set (Blue/pink pattern trim, small wear marks here and there) - $100
Rb25 Neo Starter Motor - $ 75
Rb25 Neo Alternator - $75
Rb25 Neo Crank Angle Sensor - $75
Rear Carpet Set (a few dirty stains/marks, but should come up good after a proper clean) - $50

If there is anything in particular you are looking for, just ask and I will see if I have it.

Text me on 0433 852 094 for best results as I don't get an SAU that much anymore.

Cheers

Neil

If this guy has finished wrecking his I am wrecking an rs. I've got pretty much all parts.

Edit. I'm pretty sure he doesn't have it any more.

    • It's something we all have to consider as time marches on. Also consider lifted rally MX5 conversion at that point.
    • I should be fine for a few more years, whilst I do have arthritis I also exercise and do mobility training every day to keep as fit and healthy as I can, military life, which is the actual cause of most of my joint issues, has set daily regimes, which I weirdly enjoy I also train alot smarter now, not really focusing on lots strength or puffy muscles, I'm more focused on maintaining what I have for my future older self, I actually train as much mobility now as I do exercising Check out this "simple" drill I have been doing daily prior to training now for a while now, this has worked wonders in my all round mobility
    • I'd say one thing that may make you sell is the same reason the guy with the hard top roof sold his. He got old, and his back was giving him too much grief stopping him getting in and out... Old guy said he was 73! He looked and sounded younger than 73 to me! Or maybe I'm just aligning with old people more...
    • Already looked at a few prior to getting the MX5, really nice car, had all the mod cons, but I wasn't really sold on the new "look" I did miss my 2017 Limited, and I personally prefer the "look" of the older car over the new model, but, when pondering I kept going back looking at MX5's But it was same same for the new ND's, I wasn't sold on the new "look", especially the RF with its weird roof, which only half goes down, like a targa top sort of thing As I stated before, I did look at NC's, but the cars I looked at were PRHT's, but I didn't like their roof line "look" of the PRHT, until I saw the soft top version, (someone on SAU posted a for sale ad for one with a soft top that caught my attention, you can blame them for my choice.....🤣) and.... that old style detachable hard tops were available for them, which keeps the old MX5 more smoother flowing roof line, and the more rounded body style, similar to the NA-NB, to me, the arse end of the ND looks to "modern" Much like how I prefer the NC1 front bar, over the later models How long will I keep this car for is unknown, but currently, there's nothing else out there that "floats my boat" for a small, fun, little "sports car", that I can play with and enjoy looking at and driving But, who knows what the future holds, and going off current new car styling, if I replace it, it will be a older model something something
