Whats That..?

Hey, just thought I would start a thread about all the confusing things on a skyline.

Ill start off..

Whars that black round container that holds fluid. It sits in the engine bat of my R32 and its right near the airbox.

Also how do i knwo if it needs topping up?

its got a level indicator inside the cap, and you'll know when you're steering goes wierd, or your HICAS light comes on when the car isn't goin anywhere.

yeah the indicator is like a white ball thingy..

and you cant see inside the canister.. so if you pull out the lid, the ball thingy sits on the bottom of the road so you can get a reading, if that makes sense..

now for another one,

whats that thing attached to the firewall in the top corner there

speaking of whipers ... how do you adjust the front and rear squirters .. the rear one just drzzels and one of the frotn ones doesnt aim straight.

i heard you stick a pin in the nose?

yeah put a pin in there just to clean out the nozzle theres prob shit in there that should do the job.

They are like a little ball bearing with a hole through it so when you stick the pin in to clean it (there's usually polish residue in there) you can aim it by wiggling the pin.

Do you park your car on the lawn.... if so it could be a snail, its not uncommon considering the time of year, for snails to seek refuge in the warmth of an R32 engine bay
