Is it even your water pump gasket leaking? That's the least likely scenario. It is probably the pump. You should replace it anyway considering what they cost.

Replace timing belt, tensioner and idler pulleys and cam and crank seals while you are at it.

i have a 3 prong pulley puller from supercheap but its shit... have you got a link to the one your talking about?

yeah the pump is leaking so ive got a new pump n gasket ready to go.

Don't use those gear pulleys, you'll ruin your crank damper and cry.

Use a proper bar and bolt type.

I bought a $10 steering wheel puller of fleBay, worked a treat!

I used a 2 arm puller on my old R31, worked very well until the pulley slipped out and I dropped it on my driveway... Took a nice chip out of the pulley right where the A/C belt would have gone if I could have been bothered regassing it :laugh:
