Oil Capacity Diff / G-Box

Just about to do G-box and diff oil change on my R-33 GTS-t

- How much oil do you need for the gearbox and diff??

- What oil do you recommend, Was going to use CASTROL....

R33 GTS-t gear box holds about 3.8lt's (we're talking about manuals here aren't we??? )

Not sure about the diff but

I used Castrol VMX80 in the gearbox - works sweeeeeeetttt. Either that or you could use the Redline stuff, some of the blokes on here use that and say it's really good stuff.

Does any body know about the diff ?? How much oil should it hold??

Jay95R33: Thanks for the info. Do you know if it quitened down the g/box at all, as mine is a bit noisey!!

I've used Castrol VMX80, Motul & Redline "Shockproof" in the g/box.

Redline "Shockproof" is by FAR the best! The difference in shift quality is nothing short of amazing!

It's not cheap though @ $110-$115 for a 3.785L (1 US Gal) container. The GTS25t g/box takes almost the whole container.
