Hi all, im new to this forum. Okay so I have recently purchased a vehicle its an r33 GTS-4+T to the best of my knowledge these cars came out rb25de and auto. To put it in a nut shell the 33 is running like a bag boost is cutting out around 4,000RPM-4,500RPM have changed plugs put new gcg high flow turbo but am unsure of how to fix this. Cheers

So its running too much boost. As per the million threads about cutting as you have described.

Either the ecu is having a fit due to too much boost or the coil packs are shit.

Or afm or fuel pump or cas or heaps of other things.

So you replaced the turbo to try and fix it? That's a shame..

What ecu? That's likely the problem.

Try decreasing the boost pressure maybe?

As Ben stated, the ecu is probably trying to protect the motor, go to a tuner and get them to see whats going on.

It can literally be 100 different things. I had a boost cut in my evo, i thought bad fuel pump or batch of fuel, ended up being my intake pipe collapsing on boost. Took me 2 weeks to realize. So yea, literally can be anything.
