Stud Measurement For Gt30 To Stock Manifold

As the heading says what size studs have people used length and pitch etc to mount a gt30 to a stock manifold?

Look at the stock one and add the thickness of the spacer too.

Look in the hypergear thread, I listed exact length, and pitch.

m10x1.5x60mm i just surfed around for this... you can buy them from GCG turbo's and there is also a recommendation to get inconel ones which is just a more heat resistant metal...but more expensive....probably just make sure your exhaust isn't hanging all its weight off the turbo.

Ok thanks, the spacer is 11/12mm so the 60mm ones should do the job? Im mounting the external gate on the manifold so that should save a bit of weight. Ive welded cast a few times and always makes me nervous! Thanks for your help mate

Gate on manifold to save weight?

Yep. Less added strain on the studs as the turbo will be sitting out a far way and id rather weld to the manifold to allow for different turbo combos

I would be more worried about the ebay turbo breaking than the stud breaking.
