hi i got a mate to install my fuel pump and some how he managed to put a small pin hole :Oops: in the top of my fuel tank will this be a problem

Don't know for sure, but I reckon your boot could fill with fuel vapour....quite explosive. You can get fuel proof sealant from most auto shops, which should do the job nicely if it's only a pinhole.

take it to your mechanic mate.Is it really a pinhole or is it worse i.e.rust.Take it to ur mech

the hole might be a bit bigger than a pin

just seal it with some shit. go to an auto shop and tell them wat happened and the diameter of the hole and see what they recommend.

thas about it really ! should be easy enough to patch up

You local mechanic should be able to fix it up for u. Depending on what sorta mech he is, generally they get the stuff cheaper. My bro is a mechanic and he gets the materials for like 1/5 of the price in auto shops. Go to an auto shop, get a price on the putty, then take that to the mech - he'll do u a deal.
