Hey All,

I have recently bought an R32 GTR from interstate and am trying to get it registered in TAS.

The car has adjustable control arms / coilovers and they are saying that they don't meet the national standards they check the cars off with now.

Apparently, if I can provide evidence that Nissan or Nismo offered adjustables as an after-market upgrade, I don't need to do anything & they are ok.

If I cant find something that proves this I have to either put standard set up back in, or get a modification plate. I have been advised in Tas that could take 2 months (from the guy at transport who approves them!). Really dont wanna wait that long :-/

Does anyone know if it was ever offered as an upgrade by Nissan/Nismo? & If so, how can I prove it?

Any help any of you can provide would be awesome!

i have k sports coilovers in mine and passed roady

Different states have different requirements.

No way in Sa will coilovers get through an inspection.

Buy some stock gear - Email some wreckers around AUS and see if they will freight it to you, I'm sure they would.

Other than that, try posting in location specific boards and see if anyone in your area has some stock bits you can borrow for a case of beer.
