Squeal Noise At High Boost, Help!

Weird squeal/screech noise when I hit high rpm/boost in my rb25det neo r34 nissan skyline. Anyone know what this could be? turbo? boost leak?

The video's not really good enough to hear what's going on. Just sounds like assorted broom broom and boost noises to me.

But whenever this happens it's usually either a boost leak or an exhaust side leak. Gunna have to pressure test the inlet to prove/disprove that it's there before going on to look on the exhaust side. Unless perchance it's coming from the turbo....but we'll leave that for later, as it's a lot less likely.

i can only hear induction noise, but i'm using a laptop and sound quality's a bit

do you have FMIC with t clamps? if its making a loud whistle then it could just be boost leak- undo the clamps and reposition it properly. You can do this anyway for peace of mind

Ohk fair enough, its more of a whine and it comes on and off. Different from high pitch induction noise.

Have a stock FMIC, only mod in engine bay is a bov...

Might have to do a pressure test, Ive been told it could be an exhaust mani leak.

Don't think it can be, just put the stock one on and the noise is still there...

Manifold gasket leak?

Had one of those before, open the turbo heat shield and inspect for black spots showing signs of exhaust gas leakage
