I can not find anything in english on this.

Does anyone know the pitfalls of owning an import, which has just being added compliance list, ex - LIke calling insurance, mechanics, etc. i am guessing no one will no about it.

I owned one of the first 370GT coupes imported to the country, Just cars didn't have any record the car in their system when I first insured it so they just made a new entry no dramas.

As for parts good thing about Toyota/Nissan etc is the general maintenance parts are usually interchangeable like oil/air filters etc but gotta do your research I guess.

This company was helpful when I had to source genuine replacement parts like a shifter unit, & was a whole lot cheaper than sourcing through a local dealership too
