M35 Stagea Suspension Change

Hi all,

We've recently bought a m35 stagea which came with tein coilovers.

Given that this is the family wagon, these coilovers are tricky to adjust for a nice ride, and may be due for a rebuild.

I would prefer to replace it with the stock axis or rs4 suspension, or preferably the nismo aftermarket shocks and springs.

Does anyone have any of the above for sale? Willing to pay for courier for the right parts.

I sold my Axis ones, they weren't too bad being a low K car, but most of the stock shocks are well shagged by now.

BC's would be your best bet. Cheap and work well.

I am based in sydney so probably would be more Hassle then needs be.

My car has the factory upgrade suspension which sits 2" lower then stock but gives a really nice ride being the nissan upgrade set

Will the arx set fit into the rsfour?

We could arrange the swap... but bear in mind the rears could do with a rebuild

The Arx will fit but the hight will be different. I'm happy to swap as these are off the car already

If the height is std for a rsfour, thats ok. Am not looking for a drop. But i dont want to raise it either

Not sure if the hight is standard or raised but definatly not a drop when I'm home tomorrow night I can measure the length of the whole front and rear units for you mate ;-)

On this subject, which is the better option out of the nismo s tune and bc br coilovers?

Looking for a nice sporty ride with handling to suit. Not too firm, but not too mental either. This is the family wagon after all

BR's, mainly as it would be half the price.

Really? Rhdjapan sells the stune for about 850 aud +300 delivery. Similar pricing to the bc...

Bc's. $1149 delivered in 2-5days.

S-tunes are the same price but you'll be waiting 2-3 weeks. I Don't know if they've changed them in the last couple of years, but the s-tunes in my r34 weren't height adjustable and didn't have the adjustable front tops.

I'm wanting to maintain the ride height where I can, but stiffen up the lateral movement with sway bars and braces.. I'm hoping I'm not too late to the party and look forward to learning more and with any luck comparing notes cheers

Spoke to JustJap re the BC's and they told me with the ARX, the wheels will sit just off the guards at their most extended point.

On the others, I can't seem to find anything on whether they are ARX compatible. I really don't want it lowered much at all, if any... difficult aren't I :-/

Agreed, fully intend on replacing the bars once I get the car and figure out all the bushes that I need to replace in the one job... hope I can stretch the purse strings lol
