MCA will give you the height you want and with a comfy yet firm ride. Some people don't like them though as they are a proper coilover at the rear and bolt up to the LCA and shock tower, where the shock would be which wasn't really designed to take the old of the car. I have had them for 6 months with no issues though

Cheers philr32.. Been doing plenty of reading for the mca's, where do I find the problems with them.. All I've found so far, has been largely glowing and positive. I've sent them an email to find out what's on offer..

Thanks heaps all to being so welcoming and helpful so quickly

People with MCAs installed haven't had any issues (that I know of). A couple of people (1 or 2 I think) with OEM struts/shocks had the mounting plate in the rear where the strut/shock bolts to crack quite badly. By having MCAs you're putting all the load on that area which was only designed to have a shock bolt up to it, not the spring too which take the weight/load. Basically people are concerned that if a non load bearing shock can crack that plate imagine what a full load bearing coilover will do to it, plus the LCA was not intended to have all the load on it either.

Like I said, I have had mine 6 months with no issues or concerns, on mid settings they're firm and comfortable, on the hardest setting they are rock hard but I like that (I drive around daily on the hardest settings). I've done a couple trips from Sydney to the centra coast loaded with 4/5 guys and enough shit for a weekend away and I haven't noticed any bad signs. Also Josh from MCA has an M35 which I would assume is running his suspension (you would hope).

Spoke to JustJap re the BC's and they told me with the ARX, the wheels will sit just off the guards at their most extended point.

On the others, I can't seem to find anything on whether they are ARX compatible. I really don't want it lowered much at all, if any... difficult aren't I :-/

Agreed, fully intend on replacing the bars once I get the car and figure out all the bushes that I need to replace in the one job... hope I can stretch the purse strings lol

In regards to arx compatible. The arx and any other m35 are identical in this way, they just have flared over the wheel arch which doesn't actually even give more wheel clearance.

They just run a taller Spring, so any m35 setup is compatible, just make sure it can be wound high if it's a coilover.

I have an ARX with BCs – don’t know if they are fully extended but front and rear is just under 71cm ground to the guard.

Wow that's more than I was expecting..

I decided to go with the MCA X-R... Josh has been suffering me well with all my punter questions.. With any luck I'll have them towards the end of next week.

Thanks heaps to everyone here answering all my punter questions.. I'm trying to learn super quick so it's been awesome
