Hello SAU

Just got my 350gt, love it!

Only problem is that there is the Error FO being displayed and a CD is stuck. An aftermarket mounted screen is where the pop-up one use to be (came like this from Japan) but it does not turn on or display anything, aircon and climate work fine so far, not too concerned that the CD player does not work as there is another aftermarket one been fitted where the DVD player was on the left.

Would anyone have any idea as to why screen is not working, and how difficult these cars are to open it up and have a look?

Much appreciated. :):action-smiley-069::yes::domokun:

You answered your own question. Removing the oem DVD player on the left disables any funtionality your screen once had. And messing around with the can-bus system is a VERY bad idea.

Im guessing you didnt have the factory navi option in the car and it came with an aftermarket screen/dvd navigation(like a panasonic strada for example) where the screen is mounted and the dvd drive (for nav and media is put in the empty smaller glove box) if it isn't factory then you wont be messing with the can-bus i reckon...but making that aftermarket screen to work is another matter all together...take it to Chris Rogers who posted above.

    • I did some research, considering you have a neo engine, how is that battery compatible? I checked centuries website and super cheap and says it's not compatible. Only this full size one is. https://www.centurybatteries.com.au/products/ns60-mf
    • No, lets be honest here. I went to Winton and did a track day, for all the mods and V8 power and craziness I posted up a time that a K24 stock motor Honda Accord can do on the same tyres (narrower, too) 250kw and learning how to drive the f**kin thing is the sweet spot.
    • While that's true, that is the only thing that those cars can do. Whereas a car like ours can also weigh 500kg less, and take a corner properly without risk of punching a hole in the concrete barrier when it lets go. Oh, and sound good. Oh, and not just be a mobile iPad.
    • Nah, that's the video I was referring to! I want to see you have a proper crack this time, unlike at 2:20 in that video where you are just taking it easy! What do you reckon it'll do at Wakefield? 1:03 ish?
    • This is where what you want is a Barra 4L. I had the FG XR6T for a few years. It made bulk power, and so stupidly effortlessly. But if you want true amazing power that's incredible in traffic light GPs or getting into a gap in traffic, you can't beat an EV...
