Ask the registration department. They have the final say.

The engine number changes, and that number is associated with an older engine.

How do you figure the emissions won't be changing? Just a guess?

Was told it wouldn't change can't go wrong with second opinion my motor threw a rod so I figured why now just 30 bottom end

Just rang the engineer who will be mod plating it and he said he can't see a problem with it at all
