Hey all,

Is it possible to remove and install a stock plenum with the engine in?

I have searched for a tutorial and have not been able to find one.

If it is possible do I need any special tool? I have a polished plenum and gaskets.

Any advice appreciated.

Cheers.

Unfortunately a lot of photos have been removed from Photobucket but the instructions are still worth the read.

Terry what the hell is going on in those photos??? Way too many open orifices.

Did it over a weekend. Lots of swear words and painful in the end. If you are removing that side for whatever reason make sure you inspect all the hoses like everyone has mentioned as you don't want to have to remove the plenum again due to cracked hoses, lol.

You don't really need a tutorial to do it, you can locate all the bolts required to take the plenum off, but if its your first time will definitely take a bit as there are a few 'hidden' bolts that can be a pain to get at.
