My understanding was it is to do with minimising turbulence at the merge, if they are the same diameter the pulses interfere with each other or some such thing.

The ss Midori front pipes have something similar also.

Just finished reading both of your 32 build threads and I must say that I'm quite impressed !!!!

Loving the attention to detail throughout the whole build process.

Haha no where near that stage Glyn!! This build is not going to be anywhere near the speed of [1 OF A] (unfortunately).

Tbh I have not done anything with it for probably 8 months or so. Life got crazy and this build got put on the back burner.

But, very very happy to say, things are happening again...slowly.

Ants has been especially kind in helping me out with some nice near new quality parts

New rad hoses

Few more bits back from coating

Rear 34 GT-R calipers to get striped/painted

And saving the best for last, front brake packages ready to go. Thanks Ants!!

Haha all brand spankin!!

Yeah it was mate. Now just need to sort head gasket and cams and that's the motor pretty well sorted

Well, it all depends on how you want the car to run, power and torque-wise i suppose.

Im sure there will be people on here with plenty of knowledge. Might even pay to do a search, Im sure there are a few threads on cam choice.
