Hey all

Recently changed the pads on my series 2 r33 gtst. I used QFM A1RM pads. I noticed that the pads are not making contact with the entire surface of the disc. I hope the photo clarifies. I dont think this is normal as Im thinking that the pad should make contact with the entire surface of the rotor.

Could you guys please advise.

Cheers

Amir

They are probably just slotted as far as the process allows. I use QFM pads, not A1RM's but they are fine. Ive even been told my brakes are very good for standards compared to some other 33's

As above though. Line them up next to your old ones. But if be suprised if you have an issue

Obviously they cant contact all the way to the hub for clearance issues. It looks like a normal contact area. Have you bed the pads in? (60-80km/h, then fairly heavy braking and repeat a few times) Cant remember if the box for the pads tells you exactly how to do it or not
