Well after all that the car already had a Ryco 436 on it from the previous owner...

How much oil do people put in their VQ35DE engines??? Googling says 4.6L which approximates what drained out. Seems odd when the smaller 2.5L V6 was very hungry for a full 5 on oil and filter changes.

Asking as its so damn hard to clearly on dipstick with clean oil.

Have a slight belt squeal on cold start up recently, hope its just from parking in dusty yard...???

It should be around 5l; I actually run 5.5l in mine.

I don't get out much in mine these days. Got a roadie to Wellington next week though so I can blow out the cobwebs a bit.

As for oil, I just change it every 3 months/5,000km and chuck in 5 litres. Saves having to try and check the useless dipstick.
