R34 GTR - anyone got their TV working ?

The 34 comes with a lcd screen that has a TV button but seems to be set for japanese tv, has anyone got theirs working in OZ ?

Ring Nam's Electronic Services in Marrickville. They convert overseas TV's to Australian. I think it generally costs around $900.

Not sure if this helps any, allows the TV to play a video source such as a DVD player etc.

Even better IMHO would be to use a Digital Set Top box, then you can get widescreen as well... Most of them have an option to specify the video output format. Also the reception will be better, like how digital mobiles were better than analogue... Oh wait

Thanks guys will look into getting the standard one working - its attached to the full electronic car read out and would be a pitty to replace

Just to hi-jack for a minute, does anyone have a wiring diagram or pinout guide for the cable that runs between the main cucuit board and the LCD screen? Just wondering if I can replace the screen with another one (but different brand/model)...
