How to fix my chassis?

Hey everyone,

Judging by the pic, how hard would this be to repair to a roadworthy state? Is it somthing best left to the pro's? The floor isn't bent though so this would make it a little easier.

I thought I might be able to heat it up with an oxy and use a slide hammer but I haven't got the car yet so I don't know how thick a chassis rail is.

A friend had some similar damage on his GTIR when it was imported from some shoddy forklift picking up manouveres. He just took it to a panel beater and they arranged for it to be repaired... maybe do the same thing?
