Handbrake adjustment R33?

OK how is the handbrake adjusted, at the lever, under the car or at the rear wheels?

how do they work anyway?

do they use all four brakes to lock up? or only rear ones? or front ones?

I know they are transfered by some sort of cable....

im pretty sure all nissans are the same.

If you pull the lever up, under the handle there is an adjustment screw, on the handle itself.

I cant bloody explain it without a pic, anyway, pull the handle up and look at the handle itself, sort of under the handle, close to the base.

If that makes sense...

Just the back brakes lock up with the hand brake.

Yeah I figured it out, if you open up the leather cover you'll see a nut which you can tighten with a long 10mm socket, I chose to remove the arm rest and use a spanner.

Not quite right guys,,,,,,,1st place you should play with at the rear brakes......The rear discs have internal handbrake shoes. Remove the rear discs,,,clean out the brake dust,,,backoff the adjustment at the handbrake and now look at which way the adjuster works at the wheels. Adjust the rears 1st with the discs re-installed. The Lever adjustment is only there to get both rear brakes stopping at the same time.
