trying to figure out if i will need to rebuild turbo because oil had been pushed past the seals?

What's the connection between buggered pistons and rings and the turbo?

well the bottom end was pressurised, because of the rings being stuffed. had to release that pressure somewhere and weakest point was turbo seals so was blowing oil past the seals into the intake.

There's nothing that would hurt them.

ok thank you, just thought cos oil was going through them when they're supposed to stop the oil that they might of been buggered
