Found In Sump Of 20/30 What Is It?

I bought the motor 6yrs ago finally got it on a stand before I put it in the car and found these two things in the sump one has a a ball bearing it it and it moves up and down the other no idea any help would be much appreciated there was no metallic particals in the oil so I assume these fell out the bottom somewhere trying to find out before I go any further

Sounds like a piston. probably about 6 of them..........

Looks like a locating dowel for the oil pump on the left, and an oil restrictor on the right.

The one on the right has no hole through it so wouldnt restrict anything?

Reminds me of that capsule that shits inside the hydraulic lifters... No chance it would get down there though!

One of the plugs out of the head (if they use similar ones to the rb25's)?

Put something next to them for a reference? Not sure if they are 2mm wide or 2cm wide

The one on the right looks like the block off oil feed restrictor plug (like a oil restrictor but with no hole)

The one with the ball bearing in it is 12mm long dia of 10mm the other is 8mm long and dia 10mm

Behind the oil filter there's a blocked filter relief valve.

That's what i think you have in the sump somehow.
