Itd be too much stuffing around trying to get AWD from a VQ35, you would just stick to the VQ25. Which is oh so original and exciting.

You know they made an awd vq35 stagea, yeah?

Love your work, seen many similar conversion start but never finish... but you seem to be smashing through all obstacles with great precision!

Down the track I hope you drop in the 4.5L crank and tickle the bores :)

Absolutely loved the series mate. I've been thinking for ages that a turbo V8 would be perfect in the Stagea. Good on ya for sticking with the manual box. It's gotta be a lot of fun. I must say the amount of detail in the series really drives home how much effort is required to do an engine swap like this. Bloody heaps! Damn awesome work. The workmanship looks second to none.

Why a VQ35 is the real question.

The VQ35 is an underrated engine. People didnt take to it for tuning the same way they did with an RB engine despite the fact that it actually lends itself to forced induction well. People using the HKS twin turbo kits are pushing around 400-450 rwhp on only 7psi of boost . The V series skyline was also used to test engine/drivetrain configurations during R&D for the R35 GTR. Ben did also say he wanted a nissan derived engine too, but that V8 was a good choice too
