Not too much this weekend. Doing a rollcage for a mini cooper try earn some extra $$$ new weekend WILL be productive though yesterday paid a large bill for a HEAP of Aeroflow bits. They shot me a message and they are now a sponsor so will be adding them to the lineup. So the car now has a nice new fuel system, intercooler and pipework, oil system etc.. will be rather exciting and lots happening next weekend. Need to find someone down south end of adelaide who can crimp on 4 and 8 gauge lugs for my power and earth runs if anyone knows of someone.

Also just got myself a trusty hauler a ford wagon so that will be the new parts hauler and tow vehicle!

Well well its been one busy ass week sorry for the delay in ipdates but i had 3 boxes of aeroflow gear rockup so have been smashing out a heap of work after work each night.

So hot side is all done, manifold is fitted, turbo is done all water lines, oil feed and drain is done. And have tacked up the gate pipe and main exhaust.

Also new oil cooler setup is done. Have mounted it behind the drivers side vent in the bumper and planning on fitting a power steering cooler on the passenger side. Also had to modify the block so that it would take the autometer oil pressure sender. The oil filter will be pointing down into the lower area behind the bumper for easy access and less mess. Also left the oil fittings loose on the cooler so that we can fill the cooler prior to filling the enging so that we can prime the system instead of it having to fill the coolerpost-96314-14371051512819_thumb.jpgpost-96314-14371052134642_thumb.jpg

Also engine bay is 99% buttoned up. Was hoping for fireup basically now but friday night i figured i was missing a rather important part of the puzzle... plug leads. So called around but noone had any of the MSD kits in stock so that didnt happen :(

So after working out that i had no leads i didnt pull any all nighters so all that is left is wire up the CAS to haltech, hookup fuel pump power to lift and 044 then abit of wiring in the cabin and should be ready for dyno.

Then will focus on suspension and handling again. Aiming for a reliable 300rwkw so nothing extrodinary but we had too much grip for the power we had so gain some more power chase some more grip then wind her up abit more. There is an engine in the works and that is when you will see the dry sump come into play ;)

Cheers for reading guys!!

PS hopefully have a startup video next weekend!!

Cheers mate. I was sitting looking at it last night its nowhere near what some people have build but for my first ever build in the shed that i have lol.

Yeah was looking at the turbo beanies and some titanium heat wrap just keep some heat away from everything. Also forgot to upload this pic of the fuel system aswell.

Very nice - orderly layout easy to follow.

The 34 looks to have incorporated a bolt on gusset between the fuel tank hump and effectively the rear chassis rails. Interesting.

I'd rate this build as more comprehensively thought-out than most, and the execution of each element is fine (no small compliment there either).

Keep at it, most interested to see/hear results of the finished machine.

Cheers mate definatley makes the late nights worthwhile! Really wanted to be driving august 1st but $$$ mean i cant order bits i need just yet :( also bought the msd ls1 caps and msd lead but seems to have been a waste of money i cant make these leads go through the plug for the life of me! Rather frustrated. First thing thats genuinely beaten me :(

So today finished up the haltech wiring but my CTS and IAT sensor calibration information i got seems to be abit off so going to need to find out whats happening with that. But as for the fuel maps im not 100% sure i have gone about it the right way but i just need a tune to get it on the trailer lol. But i have a map for a stock engine/injectors now the map is around the 50 to 80% so with a 300cc injector at 50% it allows through 165cc of fuel so my 1600cc injector to allow through 165cc of fuel needs to be at 10.3% duty cycle.. and 62% = 186cc = 11.6% and so on and so forth... so will see what i can do tomorrow but kicked it in the ass today and she wanted to but smelt extremely strong of fuel so probs flooded. Only issue is my Innovate LC 2 hasnt arrived so cant check the afr accuratley :( will post pics tomorrow

Its a sport 1000. I got the base R34 map but because the stock r34 runs a 330cc injector it was set for the duty cycle needed for the 330cc now running 1600 ive had to drop back the tables massivley. I now have it starting unhappily but starting. As for the IAT and the CTS i found that you can save calibration tables so i saved a holden VN IAT table and loaded that into the map and was mint so rather happy about that. Once i workout how to upload videos i have a short startup video. Also some pictures...

Cleaned up alot more of the loom that used to run under the dash

Still looks dirty but i think once its all painted one colour it will be much better.

Also buttoning up the engine bay, have fitted the front bar and guards etc.. once its on wheels i will roll it back and need to drill holes in the bar for more air into the oil cooler and FMIC and will be making a headlight duct soon.

Not the worlds best welding but 3 months ago i couldnt weld alloy to save my life haha

Also persisted with the MSD leads and managed to get them all made and found a tricky little way of making pushing the lead through way easier

post-96314-14379045924975_thumb.jpg

Silicone on silicone sticks so drilled out a 10mm bolt and used that.
