Blocking Off Vacuum/ Boost Lines

Since I have the engine out I'm gonna block off the un-used boost/vacuum lines around the manifold.

Currently there's just a hose over the line with a bolt and hose clamp at the end of it. Looks like shit and also dodgy

I was originally going to use liquid metal but if that get sucked in under vacuum some how, good bye engine

What else has everyone else done??

You can get rubber caps that are essentially just rubber hose of the same size as was originally there, but closed at one end. One of those + a hose clamp.

Ahhh yes I know what you mean, I was using one of them for a while.. Did you find they deteriorate from heat after a while?

If not Supercheap/Autobarn type places then at Repco or Sprint Auto or possibly from auto electrical workshops or from carby/efi service places.

I just run a hose from one to the other when I remove the factory boost solenoid

I used the little caps from supercheap. Come in the little blister packs on the spinning racks that have the nuts and bolts on them (or the same style one at least) Don't cost much at all and think they were selling 4mm, 5mm, 6mm and maybe another size

They feel a bit cheap, but the one I'm using has worked fine for me
