If so, great. Drop your oil, fish through it like the boys have said. Buy yourself a supermagnet sump plug while you've got the original one in your hand and are down at SuperBarn buying new oil and a filter.

In the 26 head there is a, let's say tunnel for arguments sake, that runs from one side to the other in the middle of the head for the oil to cross to the oil returns, check in them

your sure its not sitting on a cross member or something, it might not have gone into the engine but not reached the floor

Nope looked every where. Blew the head out with compresses air still no luck. Im not 100% sure the washer went in there. So i think ill put it back together and forget about it

Just get a new one and put it back together, even if it is in the engine and manages to make its way to the sump the gause over the oil pick up will stop it getting into the oil pump

You will most likely find it one day, I once found a 13mm ring open ended in my BOV return pipe lol

Did you do what I said? Honestly every nut and bolt I have dropped has fallen into the splash guards and slid into a nook where a magnet would not get it. Also if you can, roll the car back and check the ground

If it's not visible near the cam lobes and lifters, then it is not "near the valves". The only way it could get to the valves is if it could magically teleport through the head casting.

I accidentally dropped a coil pack bolt into the cylinder (didn't know, thought it fell down the side of the engine) on my old R32. The RB20DET spat it out without a fuss, took out the standard turbo exhaust wheel though.
