Tipotronic Upshift And Downshift Lever Reversal

I think this has been covered before but i can,t find it, i believe by changing 2 wires the tipotronic lever actuation can be reversed ie forward to downshift and back to upshift, the opposite to standard, can anybody verify this and what wires need swapping around

Yes it can be done. 10 min job.

I did it ages ago, so don't really remember, but it was pretty obvious what wires they were. I just clipped them and added connectors so they can be reversed.

Exactly, they're directly underneath the console; do as Alex said, and put plugs on them so you can switch them back easily later on.

Good mod; makes far more sense the other way.

I always thought it was straight forward, but the last one I did took a few goes. The wire pairs only work one way, I think we all just got lucky. If it doesn't work just swap them around.
