Hairline Crack Wastegate (r34)

On inspection I found this hairline crack on an OP6 turbine housing.

Is this still good to be used?

Given that this parts takes a lot of heat I'm somewhat concerned about the crack getting larger.

(but possibly that crack has been there for years ...)

Any thoughts?

A crack will only ever get bigger.

I would avoid using that housing because it will give problems and downtime for the car at some stage.

There's enough gear on the market where you really don't need to reuse an old OEM housing.

I would gladly use anther housing but it has to fit the standard manifold / dump mounts

Any hints where I could find a replacement?

Plenty on eBay that are already blown or try fb drift sales etc

Probably the best bet would be to get in touch with Hypergear and see what is available.

Stao seems to be a whizz with making units that bolt up to stock manifolding and taking OEM dump flange pattern.
