one vehicle which looks interesting, whats your opinion on these issues for sa compliance...

button clutch --- do they care about clutches?
r33 gtr rotors using Uas caliper adapters to fit larger front rotors --- is this an issue?
Brake master cylinder stopper --- i cant imagine this being an issue but ..??
Apexi safc ---- is this something that can be disconnected for compliance reasons (and driven veeeeery carefully on stock computer)?
New wheels 18 x 9.5 (offset unsure looks about +20, on the limit of inside the guards) w semi slick tyres --- not a chance with the tires... but the wheels?

I dint think clutch will matter.

Have to check allowances with wheels.

Caliper adaptors would be a no. They would need to be engineered with a certificate.

The safc could be hidden reasonably easily.

You drive the car in and out of the ID so clutch is no problem.

You cant see the adaptors unless you put your head under the car and look up behind the wheel so cant see that being a problem, at least mask up around and paint them black.

BMS is only 2/3 bolts, might as well remove it.

SAFC as Ben said you could hide, just push up behind glove box, or it will just be wired in next to the ecu and it only 3 wires so can remove and drive gently.

They are picky about wheels/tyres. Technically its within the track allowance, but im sure somebody would have some stockies you can borrow. Ive got some wheels I use for Id checks/regency but they have different size tyres front to rear. Welcome to borrow if you want to change tyres.

ok so it looks like i have found the right car, which seems to be one of the first i looked into which gives me a better feeling about it.
one more quick question, the cars in Vic and currently registered. the vic rego means nothing to me as it gets lost when transferred to SA reg.

but, does the car need to be registered to transfer to SA or does it make no difference, as in is it the same process of ID check (and maby the other roadworthy checks) weather its regoed or not.
does having NO current rego bring up any more processes?

a little birdie told me that you can still get ID checks for sa completed at specific police stations.
not sure if this would make it easier or if its easier to just hit the pits
