been looking around but couldn't find information on this

does anyone know if half height EV14 injectors with height adapter will fit the r34 GTT?

reason i ask is the r34 GTT uses 3/4 height injectors but the plug sits really close to the plenum, looking at the 1/2 height injectors i have sitting around i'm a bit worried that it won't fit

or will it be ok if i spin the injector around so the plug faces downwards to give it more space?

secondly, the bosch injectors I've got do not have lower O rings, they've got one of those square section rubber seats like those on the GTR, like this:

https://www.efihardware.com/products/1489/injector-lower-square-section-seal-large

Do I have to convert this to O ring so it will seal properly?

just needed to make sure before i start to gather the parts and pull things apart

You are making this harder than it needs to be.

PM scotty nm35 and tell him what you want.

Don't ask questions. Just do what Ben said and be done with it. Scotty will give you the right injectors are the right price.

Yeah I know it's not something most people do when they change injectors. I would have contacted Scotty for a set of 3/4 height ones if I don't already have these half height injectors lying around taken out of my old car. I'm just seeing if anyone has done this before, if not it's ok I'll just have to trial fit it first to see what I need

I assume you have 14mm 1/2 length injectors? I can supply the height adapters if you need them. Do you have the plug adapters?

Should just drop into a 34 with the correct adapter to make them 3/4 length. If the injectors have been laying around a while I would be a little worried, enough to get them cleaned/tested anyway.

Without seeing a pic I have no idea, but it isn't 14mm now is it. I assume the lower retainer for the oring has been modified to fit the square Oring, but you should be able to get a 14mm Oring to seal without falling off. PM me if you need some.

Notice there is nothing to stop the Oring falling off anymore? It has been chopped off to accommodate the new square GTR Oring. I can supply the round 14mm Orings but they may slide around and fail to seal in the plenum properly I guess.

Not the lower tip part, the part where the Square Oring is at the moment. The standard Oring will fit back on, it will just slide around now the captive plastic part is gone.

Are these what are referred to as the ID1000? In the below link..

What is the best price you're all getting your 750-1000cc r34gtt injectors for?

Are the below suitable and is this a good price?

http://m.ebay.com.au/itm/6-x-1000cc-Bosch-E85-FG-XR6-turbo-upgrade-fuel-injectors-0280158040-/151333893801

No they are not ID1000s. ID stands for Injector Dynamics which is a crowd that takes standard Bosch EV14 injectors and mods them. There are other vendors doing the same thing. This eBay vendor appears to be doing the same thing, only these are effectively "no-name". They might be fine. They probably are fine. But they are not ID.

If you want our recommendation, just ask Scotty.

Machining the little holes on the tip of the injector can help with a bit of extra flow through them, except in the case of the injectors you linked. With them it makes no difference.

How critical is 1% flow to you? What if it was 10% less on one cylinder, what do you think the outcome would be?

Bosch tell me there can be up to 10% flow difference with the new e85 injectors, similar to the older 2000's.
