Hicas Lock Bar R33

Hey Guys i bought a r33 gtst 94 and i have noticed the last owner has installed a hicas lock bar i just wanted to know what does that bar do and whats the difference if u didn't have one

The bar locks the back wheels in place. without it they slightly turn. He may have used it for drifting.

Or not. Any sensible Skyline owner who pushes the car hard will kill HICAS with fire to stop it from diddling the back wheels while trying to hold a line at 9/10ths or more.

Agreed, most likely drifting/track, not that it matters either way. Keep the hicas bar if already fitted.
