Racetech Seat, Ats 1.5way R200, Hankook Z221 Semi Slicks 265/35/18, Mystery Diff

Recommended Posts

Have a few items up for sale to cleanup the shed. Mainly bits and pieces from unfinished or unstarted projects.

Location: All located on Sunshine Coast, QLD. I do travel to southside of Brisbane every now and then to catch up with friends so can throw one of the parts in the car for an interested buyer.

Contact details: You can reach me via PM system on here, or give me a call on my mobile, 0420 856 four6four (leave a voicemail if I can't answer I will try and get back to you)

Item 1: Racetech 4009HR "standard" size seat with alloy Racetech side mount brackets and fasteners. This is a FIA approved FRP seat with head restraints. Very comfortable and supportive, best seat I've sat in. Would fit someone around 34" waist or smaller. Sizes will be on Racetech website if you want to look into whether it will suit you.

Condition: As new, only test fitted, never used due to change in plans. Has been kept out of light and in the plastic.

Price: Asking $1000. Paid $1250 for the seat + $160 for the brackets + freight. Also have a 5 point Willans harness in black or Schroth Profi Hans 6 point harness I can include for additional cost if you need a harness. The Willans is past the FIA date but unused and in new condition, Schroth is brand new and still in date for competition use.

Condition: Low km centre (approx 3,000km according to yahoo japan, looked new when it was installed and not used since). Bearings are all good.

Price: $850 slightly negotiable.

Item 3: Hankook Z221 265/35/18 semi slicks in hard compound. ADR legal tyre.

Condition: 40% tread left, quite a bit of life left in them. Kept in a dark corner of the garage that doesn't heat up so they don't deteriorate.

Price: asking $500 but negotiable.

Thanks Martin. I think they are a lot nicer than even some of the more highly regarded brands.

If anyone is interested in parts please feel free to make an offer if you think the prices I'm asking are unreasonable, I would rather sell than have it sit around for a year.

Also if anyone wants the mystery diff I'm willing to give that away if you can pickup.

Damn you skinny people :P If it was an XL i would take it haha

Seat and Willans harness sold pending payment, thanks.

Price drop on tyres to $400 for the set.

Mystery diff is still free, makes a very good doorstop or paperweight.

    • I have started repairing them but left it for more important things... Rather than clutter your post, this is the link to my build - https://www.sau.com.au/forums/forum/190-members-cars-project-overhauls-restorations/. One day I'll go back and replace the photos Photobucket deleted...
    • In terms of base maps, Haltech ones are the best by far. The ignition table for VCT motors are nearly the same as the OEM one (vacuum area -> atmospheric). Provided the AFRs are safe and fuelling is good, I would not hesitate taking the base map onto a track with a near stock turbo. Disclaimer: I pretend to know what I'm doing, and have only blown up two of my own motors and noone else's motor I've tuned in the past.
    • My manifold is ceramic coated by them, can't say my engine bay is any cooler. If the manifold ever comes off, I'll go down the real thermo shield/wrap thing.
    • Yep use them all the time, they do a really good job
    • Free to a good home. RB20DET (GTS4) engine block. Has the reinforcing girdle. Pick up from Tarneit. Just need it gone.
