Hi all,

I have an auto r34 GTT running on 98 and am thinking about getting my turbo highflowed by hypergear. Just wondering what injectors would suit this application without being overkill and what fuel pump as well.

Also here's a list of the current mods, anything that should be changed/added ?

Blitz return flow fmic

3" turbo back exhaust with de cat

Trans cooler

Split fire coil pack

Ngk irridium plugs gapped at 1.1 (think I need to decrease the gap, yeah?)

Greddy B spec II ebs

Z32 afm

Apexi pod

Nistune

Will also be getting a metal induction pipe

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

If you want a drop in replacement injector that doesn't require any plug changes or rail mods, see if you can find some R35 GT-R injectors, they are 560cc and are the exact same shape etc as R34 GTT injectors.

As for the fuel pump, a Walbro 255l/ph with the R34/S15 filter kit is an easy and price effective solution.

Talk to Scotty nm35.

Get 1400s and a 460lph pump, and and metal intake in one go.

My advice though, have the money or do the manual conversion BEFORE you up the power.

Thanks guys, any brand on fuel pumps you recommend? Just walbro ?

Also anyone know roughly how much the injectors will cost and will it be a straight plug in or will it need any work ?

And I'll message scotty now and ask him as well

I +1 this entirely if you're ever considering going E85.

If you're sticking to pootrol then you can use a Walbro 255l/h pump and some smaller and cheaper drop in injectors such as the 750 Xspurts.

If E85 is even a 1% chance for you then go the bigger fuel pump and injectors because they won't hold you back on petrol but the smaller fuel system will have to be upgraded for E85. and that means spending twice

Walbro pump all the way. E85 friendly, cheaper and quieter than the Bosch 044/040

Yeah thanks, I was originally thinking e85 but with these cheap petrol prices and because there's only 5 places to buy e85 in the Perth region I'm thinking no for now. But definitely will get the bigger set up for when I inevitably want more power again haha

98 was $1.10 a litre for me with my Coles card and receipt the other day so with the cheap price I'm in no rush to swap. Also the only place that sells e85 in Perth is united and they only have 5 stores and 3 of them are out in f**king whoop whoop and the closest one to me is a half hour drive through the bush. So it definitely is not practical at all

Sorry I didn't word my post correct. I mean I'll get the bigger set up now for when I get sick of 98. And yeah it would be dumb as to get the smaller one if I want to upgrade later not only for the cost of everything, but for the work to change everything as well

The thing for people searching, is the bigger setup is only marginally more expensive. Absolutely, absolutely worth the tiny extra even if you NEVER use it lol
