Taking a long shot trying to sell an Evo turbo on a skyline Forum but its worth a try! :)

With much disappointment im looking at offloading my turbo setup as a complete package ONLY.

Kit consists of the following.

FP green DBB turbo with turbosmart 22psi actuator which has done well under 3000km running 22psi of boost its whole life thus far.

This turbo was literally the last green to come out of their factory with MHI housings. How do i know this? FP had to confirm if they had a housing left before building this turbo for me as production of the SS housing turbos had gone under way. Turbo will also come with plazmaman cast turbo outlet and custom made SS short route hotside pipe painted black (has 2 bends less and is around 200mm shorter than OEM) made by yours truely

Toxic fab manifold unsure of what version it is (not a billet collector) but its what you would come to expect from a toxic fab manifold. QUALITY!

J speed dump pipe. Again high end stuff.

$3000ono

Yes its damn cheap I know as there is probably around $5000 worth of gear to buy brand new here so whats the catch?!

Well gentleman & ladies if there is any here

This turbo leaks oil in true FP style BUT is in perfect working order apart from this fact.

I have installed a catch can on my car but i haven't put my car back together as im choosing to go EFR as i don't want to waste anymore time pulling my car apart AGAIN and spending anymore money on this turbo

So im pricing this accordingly for the cost of a rebuild. Mark at GT Pumps will convert this back to JB for around $1100 i believe so i think getting a brand new green for around $2200 with a GT pumps warranty is a pretty sweet deal!

But hey if you already have a nice catch can setup you might strike it lucky and purchase this turbo and it doesn't leak oil which would be a massive win for you!!

Not looking to sell parts separately at this stage and price is very negotiable!

Stupid lowball offers of $2000 or less will come with a F#%@ You reply!

This setup is still on my car currently and will be removed upon purchase.

Pm me for more details and i can send pics via MMS etc.

Sorry about the long drawn out post thanks for looking!

Cheers

    • Done about 5k Km on the PS5's now, excellent street tyres, great in the dry, and the wet, seem to be wearing very well, I haven't measured tread depth, but it looks like minimal wear, I also had a different alignment done about 1500km ago,  From looking at the tread wear, which is really only minimal, the alignment changes were based off how the tread looked, and how it felt throwing it around, the changes have shown great results 215/45 17 at 32 psi Front Caster: 5.5° Camber: -1.5° Toe: 0.0mm Rear Camber: -1.0° Total Toe-in: 1.5mm I actually prefer PS5's now over the RS4's, as the PS5's are much better in the wet IMO, and as the MX5 gets driven in all weather conditions doing daily duties, hwy trips, and blasts in the mountains, wet weather grip is high on my priority list
    • To update this thread. I got sent a replacement Attesa pro unit and all is now working as expected. Cheers
    • FD is so sexy she can pull off tri-spokes
    • Indeed they do. Best my diff builder could tell is it's a combination of the different cut/angle and it would seem they lap them in well on accell but less so on decel. He had to use a slightly different pattern to the lap to get the best result noise wise. Also as the rear diff runs in, the whine is getting less.        Overall they seem like a good thing so far. He's done a few neat crown/pinion before but all for race cars with loud everything, in most cases the exhaust is louder, so I am the first to notice.... and be somewhat of a pain
    • What do you mean by "test"? It sounds like you're just switching things on and off that you already know don't work. Get the wiring diagram and a multimeter and start looking for power where there is supposed to be power and earth where there is supposed to be earth. Look for continuity across switches that are otherwise unresponsive, etc etc.
