Ok first, yes I have had a search. There are lots of threads about clutch/gearbox noises. But that none similar to my problem.

1990 r32 gtst

FMIC

Stainless turbo back

Coil overs

Xtreme heavy duty single plate clutch

Now the clutch is about a year old say 15000 km, the problem I have is that when I'm in first gear or reverse doesn't matter. If the revs drop low, while moving slowly like taking off, I get a loud metallic rattling.

The cutch feels fine and so does the gearbox, it doesn't make this noise any other times except taking off very slowly when the revs drop low.

I don't trash my car, no burnouts or launches mostly just taking corners fast.

It's not a major problem as the car still drives fine it's just annoying. What do you guys think it could be. I reckon a finger on the pressure plate may have Broken.

They could fall out if they were completely wrong**. But usually they're just loose enough to not be completely captive. One or two have pressure on, one or two have none, and you get the rattle.

** really not going to happen.
