Hsd Dualtech Coilovers - Experiences/opinions?

anyone have any past/current experience with teh HSD dualtech coilovers?

they are currently on special with Paul @ STT for $850 plus delivery and are hard to pass.

even the HR are good price at $1000~ but the HR would be too firm for my liking for daily duties. I've had the HR set in the past and didn't enjoy the ride.

have you used them for any khana events or skid pans? how have they held up. current spring rates i'm looking at are 7/5, should i go 6/4 ? Kind of worried 6/4 may be 'too soft' for those events i want to do.

it's a budget build car so cheaper the prices, the better, so don't recommend me to purchase $1300+ coilovers

any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Too soft for track work, but good for street.

Source: mate had an S15 with them. Good for street/hills but maybe too soft for track.

What car? Evo? Another mate with an Evo 8 got MCA Blue (I think), comfy but high spring rates.

Well if it's a daily, then go with their Dualtech (used to be called AD IIRC). You'll still have decent body control. 7/5 on the mate's S15 was fine though Macquarie Pass/other twisties, so I'd go with that.
