Turbo Identify Help

Hey all

Can anyone tell me what you believe this turbo is?

And what size rear housing it has?

If not whats the way to measure or identify the rear housing?

The reason is it just appears to laggy for what i believed it to be... HTA3076r with .82 rear housing.

Have a look inside the throat of the turbine housing, wipe away soot with a rag if you need to. There may be a number cast inside. If it is what you believe it to be, the number should be 82. If not, it may be 106.

There is a visible difference between the two units when you see them side by side; a 1.06 is a much fatter snail.

Uneducated opinion, yours looks like a 0.82.

It's making the numbers up top, what does the boost curve look like?

Two peoplw now have looked at it and neither can get it any more responsive

Have you confirmed vct is working?

I would be double checking cam timing, check the dots and report back.

Tuners just tap away at the laptop typically.

I would be genuinely surprised if they pulled off the cover to check the dots. You should though.
