Highing flowing Injectors Good or Bad??

Recommended Posts

darrinspencer, I dont think I understand what you were hoping to achieve with this thread.

All replies have been along the same line, dont trust a salesman, dont trust highflows, and dont trust anyone telling you you can get 590cc out of stock injectors with a drill to within 1cc. To top it off, they slam denso injectors? (are the stock ones denso aswell?) - yet you then say words to the effect that 'these guys know what they are doing'.

If you truely believed that, why even ask others opinions????? Like I said, I sort of fail to see what you were hoping to achieve with this thread? Am I missing something?

sounds pretty sus, ah well if i was u i'd get a set of nismo 740cc injectors brand new from nengun, i got them for $994 delivered...there higher cc if u wanna do bigger upgrades, they're new, and not dodgy...just my opinion...

cheers...ben.

I think he was after first hand experience.

Exactly Adam

I was after first hand experience

Not a bunch of guys who have never tried it or seen them used with a opinion

Steve- Does not matter where you go a salesman will always tell you his product is better or the best way to do the job. Is a Ford better then a Holden, ask the salesman, he will tell you.

I wanted some first hand experience, I am not a injector expect and by the answers in this thread, either is anyone else.

Even though this isnt a first hand experience, the place I am looking at getting my injectors high flowed, and where i get all my work done, currently has a R33 gtst with highflowed injectors.

The results were apparently quite good. I dont have the exact figures, but I was told by my mate who works there that after getting them done they were able to make more power and with less injector duty. This car regularly competes at various track days here in melb, and is daily driven.

I was also told the method of highflowing was drilling them out by a thou.

darrinspencer, there is no way in hell that they will get the injectors within 1cc - if they are liing about that, what else.

but hey, its your car.

Oh, and I think B-man had some high flows in his car - lost his ringlands, it may be worth asking him what he thought of them. He is running aftermarket injectors now.
