Water leak is not the problem - you can fix that. N1 pump is made to work at high revs so unless you are planning to regularly rev your RB30 to 8000 you are better off with a stock RB25 pump (or possibly the stock RB30 - not sure, never seen one).

It can be, there are a couple of different N1 water pumps, one has a slotted mounting hole that doesn't leave much room for the sealant behind it.....it can leak there.

I got the unused part of the slot welded up to be on the safe side
