Has any one or would any one know how to remove the rear quarter windows without damaging the rubbers?

Thanks Peoples, I really need help on this one as the people who sprayed my car didn't remove the rear quarter windows (still charged me for it though) and when I questioned them due to the crappy paint edge they said the windows cannot be removed without breaking the rubbers.

Has any one had their car sprayed and had the rear quarter windows removed? Could you please ask your paint shop?!?!? :(

i think Joel means the exterior rubbers, the ones that can be seen on the outside. I think its the same with most cars Joel, u have to F**k it to get it out, and repalce with a new one.....bite the bullet and buy a new ones u cheap skate :D

If you saw the photo's of his new paint job, he means the quater windows.

The rubbers on them stay attached to the glass when you remove them.

The rear screen is different

To buy the genuine rubbers cost about $250.

I had a windscreen company fit a new aftermarket rubber for about $20.

looks good aswell.

I've gave nissan a buzz.

The rear quarter windows cannot be seperated from the rubbers, the windows are around $400-$500 each. The left one being more expensive than the right ($75 from memory)

So its glued and has to be cut, thanks darrinspencer.

I'll have to pop through a windscreen joint and see what they can do.

Viscount,

Yep nothing but troubles. :D

I'm dropping the car off to them again on Monday.

The assessors are going to be there.

I've noticed quite a few parts under the paint that has lots of cross hatches.. looks wierd. Almost like crows feet.

My spare tyre well filled up with water.

The damn rear lights are now leaking really bad.

When will it end.. :)
