Funny Timing Issue And Hunting On Idle

Hey guys,

Don't think i've posted in the Turbo section (Former N/A Warrior).

I've had this GTST for a year and a half now.

Recently done some mods inc:

Hiflow

Injectors

Z32 afm with gay ass pod (for now)

Return flow intercooler

Nistune

My car is having some issues on deceleration. Basically between 2500 - 1900 rpm it flips between 20 and 25 degrees of timing?! We've gone through and checked it and it should be constantly 20 in those revs.

Also at idle it's having issues with hunting around and stalling sometimes. I think it may be idle air control needing a clean for this issue but i'll fix that.

Cars running great on boost though..

Any ideas? lol

there's a decel timing advance table in Nistune, don't worry about it too much.. you could lower those numbers to induce a pop and/or flame on decel too

Yeah we've set decel timing to 20 degrees thats the thing lol

Might play around with it and set it to like 0 and pop some flames. Also see if it flicks between 0 and 5 deg..

How long has the problem been happening? Maybe you have issues with your CAS.

Also stalling on idle can be a result of IAC and BOV not being plumbed back, etc.
