Convert A31 To R32 Cas Plug?

Hi

Just wondering if the only difference between the A31 CAS and R32 CAS is the plug?

Apart from the square and round plugs, are they exactly the same?

I want to de-pin my square plug and convert it to the round R32 plug. Finding the square plug CAS is getting harder and harder...

Are the pins in the exact same locations on both? Or do they have to be rearranged?

Upload a picture of your plug's wire colors and order, and I'll compare it to mine,
As long as they're the same order at that end it'll be fine, all RB20 looms are the same at the ECU end.

i've been told theres an extra "ground" wire, although a local auto electrician tried/ indended to wire up a vl/r31 cas to a cefiro should be do-able

The pin out for the A31 CAS and R32/R33 (Series 1) CAS is exactly the same. Just a matter of de-pinning the A31 square plug and installing the rounder R32/R33 plug making sure wires are in correct order.
