R33 Gtr Wheel Fitment

hi all i have noticed on my r33 gtr the left front wheel sits in about 5-10mm more than the driver's side. is this normal for the GTR or not? the car hasnt been crashed nothing seems bent and both have equal camber, just setting it up for the track at the moment and i want the car to handle well and wondering if this will effect it or if its normal. cheers.

Sounds pretty abnormal to me. Have you got an alignment done correctly and have you physically checked your suspension and arm setups or did you just look at them from a distance? It will affect handing but I don't know how much.

i am a motor mechanic and iv'e checked it all and performed and alignment, seems to be all okay the pass wheels just seems to sit in a bit more..

What happens if you swap wheels L<->R? F<->R?

Is one pair of wheels a different offset or width to the other pair? Thus the post above...?

nope the same, swapped to be sure, i dont see why its like this, the subfame looks to have been out before but i cant see how it could be misaligned? its starting to really bug me!

How can you be certain that the car has never been crashed? Have you owned it from new?

hasnt been crashed majorly that i can. all factory spot welds seem sealer and paint apart from driver door.
