When you said you got '350z suspension' do you mean springs as well? as they will drop a sedan about 25mm all round.

And at $578 it would want to be in awesome condition!

I also thought that the 370Z suspension was the same type, but not settings, as the V36 not the V35 which is more aligned with the 350Z and M35 Stagea...

Yes the drivers side door windows got tinted with 35%.

But the installers should of known it had built-in tint!!!

It's now 9% thanks to them!!!

And yes for 350Z or 370Z Suspension $50 Auction with no rear Coil Springs still sounds like I got ripped off badly!!!

Yeah, I have never really checked but I also thought 370z suspension = V36, and 350Z suspension = V35. but not sure how compatible V35 suspension is with V36 suspension!

$50 Auction with no rear Coil Springs

Rear springs are not in the picture, but there is no mention in the description that they aren't included.. I would have asusmed they will be.

Not $50, but I paid $578 for 2x stuffed shockies out of 4x from a 350Z car, not even from a 350GT!!!

And he reckons my claim of refund is bogus...

I just borrowed a set from the compliance workshop that imported my car. May be worth a shot to see if they can loan you some.

Import Factory SA haven't got 350GT Sedan Springs...

How and where in Adelaide, did you get defected?

I guess I would of got defected at the shed if I was being a smart arse to him!

Yeah, I have never really checked but I also thought 370z suspension = V36, and 350Z suspension = V35. but not sure how compatible V35 suspension is with V36 suspension!

As Sonicii (Greg from Townsville, QLD) pointed out: '350z suspension' do you mean springs as well?

So there, I got screwed badly...

I think the SA section has a swap thread for regency purposes. Where's Andrew? #Nightcrawler. Jump on there and have a look.

I saw a black 350GT sedan last Saturday @ Hindmarsh Square looking for a park in Adelaide with standard issued SA white plates :)

It was a nice sweet looking stock 350GT with full rain deflectors like mine :)

I had been parked there for 2 days, before I moved it Sat evening.

Maybe he was looking for a 350GT chat up? Hehe

    • Breather for it. If it's anything like the GTRs it should run up to the top of a bellhousing bolt.
    • What basics? With these OBD1 ECUs it's not like the ECU will give you any real clues, it's not really doing any sanity checking of sensors/sensor data. My experience is actually a lot of sensors tend to be the source of the issue first and foremost, and checking everything gives you a direction to investigate. MAF/O2/STFT/LTFT should all kind of make sense. You can try little tricks of the trade like tapping the MAFs to see if it triggers a stumble, things like that. But once you've done a compression test knowing whether you have an air leak or fuel delivery problem is kind of hard to narrow down without sensor data. And you don't really know if all your sensors are making sense unless you can interrogate the ECU directly about what it's seeing for sensor data.
    • Absolutely this. Yes, except not vacuum hose. Something oil/fuel safe is a better idea.
    • Like a Stagea, but not as cool! Hope you have enough garage space for this, or is something going to leave to make way for it?
    • The new project has arrived. I have wanted one of these for such a long time, well before that meathead Clarkson drove one in Africa. I really wanted an E34 but I have some medical issues that mean I *really* can't bump my head and the lack of airbags in the E34 made it just too big of a risk.  I don't know why I've always liked these older touring BMW's to be honest, but man I love this car. She's been pretty well maintained for her 243k's with what appears to be only a single oil leak at the oil filter housing gasket. It has a bunch of updates including later model bumper and headlights, 7 series billion-way adjustable seats and it came with a few spares and another set of wheels with legal tyres. I got a unregistered car permit from the RTA and drove it back from Canberra on Saturday.                   First cab off the rank is cleaning it up for blue slip. I dont know how picky they'll be but I figured I'd clean the headlights, fix the oil filter housing gasket, replace the speed sensors (throwing errors) and swap the OE wheels (the M Sport wheels have a big chunk out of one of the tyres.) I also need to replace all 6 gas struts - 2 for bonnet, 2 for hatch and 2 for hatch glass. The car tries to eat me whenever i open any of these. My plan for this car; Ultimately, this is a budget car. I can't afford to throw lots at it and its because I have another car that I got this, if something breaks its no big deal. I will just maintain and repair it really. But eventually I want to do a manual conversion. It actually looks pretty straight forward for E39's and the trickiest part will be sourcing the parts.  I do need to replace some suspension arms or bushes because wow, she's a floaty old girl. She's also fantastically slow. Like really, really slow. When pulling back out on to the freeway on Sat after a quick pull over I needed to wait until no cars were visible before going.  Oh, and the guy I bought it from had a gorgeous R31 GTS-X in the garage.
