Hello

I need to replace my clutch plate in the r32 GTS-T. I am being given a brand new Nismo Copper Mix clutch plate. Can I use this with the stock clutch cover? Or do I need to use the Nismo one? I would need to buy it.

I already ordered a new release bearing, sleeve, etc for the install.

Why wouldn't you get the nismo plate to go with it? You need the nismo clutch cover you can't use the stock one.

I was told that the clutch plate can be used with the stock clutch cover.

So I cannot use the Nismo Clutch Plate without the Nismo Clutch cover? Are the covers different? I thought the Nismo one was only reinforced.

If you install the new plate against the freshly machined flywheel and then you put the old worn pressure plate back over the top can you guess which side will be glazed after a very short use?

You need at the very least a new standard pressure plate. I never asked how the old one came to need replacing and how much power you are putting through it?
