Just a few questions

Hey guys,

I just have a few questions about my driving experiences so far in the new car (an N/A R34 25GT)

1.) Is only the driver's side mirror meant to fold in when you choose to fold in ur mirrors.

2.) Sometimes I struggle to get the gear box back into first if I am still above 20 km/h. I know that you generally only goto 20km before changing, but I'm wondering if this is normal anyway. Also I sometimes struggle to get into 3rd from second (there is slight resistance). Maybe I'm not getting the clutch fully down...

3.) Is the auto window always meant to work? For some reason it will always go down auto matically, but will only go up automatically if I'm in gear or have driven recently. If say for example I just turn the car on in neutral and try it, it won't do anything.

I'll probably post a few more things as they come to light. My handbrake is pretty lose at the moment, so I need to get that straightened out. Other than that I love this car

Oh another thing, when I try to adjust the passengers mirror, and I press it all the way down (to look at the gutter for example), when it gets past a certain point it starts an awkward clicking. Maybe that entire mirror's electricals is screwed...

the clicking of the mirror is normal... it isnt ment to go past there. same thing with the gear box happens to me, i guess it is normal. and both mirrors should fold in im pritty sure. well they do on mine anyway(r33)

the mirror clicking is normal dude. just means it wont go any further, dont bother getting it checked, its normal.

I mean that I'm going to get the left mirror checked (it doesnt fold in when I electronically fold them in)

My 34s left mirror doesn't always fold in either. Sometimes it refuses to budge and other times flick the switch a few times and then it will fold in.

The auto windows have to be pushed all the way down or up to go up/down automatically. If you just tap it it only moves a little bit, push it all the way down/up and auto mode should engage.

Both my mirrors fold all the time. You need different oil in your gearbox. Redline or something like it. Expensive but everyone swears it works.
