e) sudden loss of performance

f) engine light comes on

Procedure

a) get your car to a mechanic who can verify and check for bad fuel

b) call Road Assist if the car won't start for a verification check

c) take not of the time and day of refill and keep your receipt of the transaction

d) call the servo, ask for the establishment's email address and inform the place that a check is being carried out and that a claim will be made against them for repairs if their fuel is contaminated

e) email the servo and repeat the procedure

Prevention

a) stay away from really old servos with their old tanks

b) preferably go to the same (safe) place when possible

Don't fill when tanker there......

What if its filling up diesel and you are buying premium?

I'm sure tonnes of people buy fuel when the tanker is there and they are fine. I personally couldn't care less. But I suppose if you live a particularly cautious life this list is something else to add to your worries :)
