V35 350gt-8

Hey guys new here I'm sorry if this has been covered already but I cannot seem to find anyone with the same issue

I have a 2003 v35 350gt-8 yes its the cvt.... yes that's the problem... basically when ever I take off I need to rev the car to 2000 rpm before it will move does anyone have any idea of what the issue may be?

Sounds like it may be the stall converter - well I hope so for your sake. Finding/fixing the faults in a cvt box is a bottomless pit of time and money.

Sadly, as I and others have said hundreds of times before, the GT-8 is a complete lemon - once any variety of fault happens with the cvt gearbox, it is generally time to find a new car.

Or a new box Andrew. Auto convert it should theoretically be a peice of piss. That's on the cards for later in the year.
